Joseph Terrence Kostinko, 82, of Cressona, passed away on September 21, 2026.

Born on March 2, 1944, in Frackville, he was a son of the late Michael and Adele (Lazauskas) Kostinko.

Joseph proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1963 to 1967, attained the rank of Sergeant, and served in Vietnam. Following his military service, he worked as a sprinkler fitter and was a dedicated member of Sprinkler Fitters Local 669 for more than 55 years.

Joseph enjoyed fishing on Indian River Bay in Delaware, gardening, and collecting coins. He was a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan and a longtime member of the Schuylkill Racquet Club & Fitness Center in Orwigsburg.

He is survived by his four children: Joseph Kostinko of Chandler, Arizona; Mark Kostinko and his wife, Wendy, of Billings, Montana; Tracey Kostinko of Davenport, Florida; and Christopher Kostinko and his wife, Kimberly, of Frackville.

He is also survived by four grandchildren: Joey Kostinko, Aleksandr Kostinko, Isabel Kostinko, and Christopher Kostinko Jr.; three sisters: Beverly Ginn, Virginia Marshall, and Dianne Minakowski; and several nieces.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his son, Michael Kostinko, and his brother, Michael Kostinko.

Joseph will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
