John A. Yanchulis
John A. Yanchulis , 87, " Shenandoah Jack ", Frackville, passed away Tuesday, along with his wife Jean, as a result of injuries received in a car accident in St. Clair.
Born in Shenandoah he was a son of the late John and Katherine ( Rice ) Yanchulis. He had been employed as a pipe fitter for Bognet Corp., Hazleton and Fannick Electric, Frackville, until his retirement.
He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Electrical Workers Union # 524. He was of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his son John " Jack " Yanchulis and his wife Jean ( Stinsky ) Yanchulis.
He is survived by his daughter Joan Marie Yanchulis, Brooklyn, NY, 2 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services, with full military honors, will be held for John and his wife Jean at 11:30 am on Tuesday, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
