John F. Yagielniskie Jr. , 55, Girardville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday at his residence.

Born in Ashland, he was the son of the late John F. Yagielniskie Sr. and Mary Brennan Yagielniskie Tobias. He was of the Catholic faith.

Before retiring, John worked as an orderly for the former Pottsville Hospital.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Grady Yagielniskie, a daughter Mariana Yagielniskie; a son John F. Yagielniskie III; a sister, Mary Ann Yagielniskie and a brother Daniel Yagielniskie.

John is survived by his daughter Tanya Bennett, his two sisters: Ann Marie and her husband Mark Barket, Ashland and Mary Kay and her husband John Bernosky, Wyomissing; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
