John J. Blickley
John J. " Jack " Blickley , 83, Englewood, Frackville, died peacefully Saturday morning at his home with his family by his side.
Born in Frackville he was a son of the late Clarence and Bertha ( Wagner ) Blickley. He had been employed as the plant manager of the former Frackville Pajama Factory and later Mark Manufacturing Co. of Frackville.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Frackville, a life member of Friendship Fire Co. Englewood, and was a past fire chief of Friendship, life member of Knights of Columbus Fr. James A Hogan Council #2580 Frackville and a member of Frackville Area Senior Citizens. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
The last member of his immediate family Jack was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters; Robert, Clarence and James Blickley, Louise and Marie Blickley, Lois Ebling, Mildred Hreshko, Jean Merinsky and Elizabeth McNabb.
Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years the former June " Selgrath ", two sons; John C. and William " Billy " Blickley, Englewood, four daughters; Gale wife of Mark Kufrovich, Barnesville, Cindy wife of Peter Damiter, Englewood, Phyllis wife of Robert Yesalusky, Frackville and Sandy wife of John Chernewski, Englewood, thirteen grandchildren; Mark and Matt Kufrovich, Peter and Jake Damiter, Kacie Fetterolf, John, Maria and Diana Blickley, Angela Barrett, Bobby and Bryan Yesalusky and Johnny and Zack Chernewski also by 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 9:30 until 10:30.
