Joe-Ann Meade

Joe-Ann Meade , 79, Fountain Springs, passed away peacefully Friday morning at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Henrietta Kehler O'Neill.

Joe-Ann was a past president of the Fountain Springs Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bingo, playing at the casinos and banana splits but most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Meade Sr., her son Thomas J. Meade Jr., and her sister Bernice Matruder Boyer; brothers-in-law: Bill Matruder, Leroy Boyer and George Rickard.

Joe-Ann is survived by her three loving daughters: Wendy Bolinsky and her husband Len, Ashland, Michelle Dyszel, Frackville, Tammy Hocking and her husband Tom, Gordon; her sisters: Arlene Kimmel and her husband Len, Maryland and Bernadine Rickard, Jonestown; a son-in-law, Steve Dyszel, Frackville; her grandchildren: Jason Blase and Dylan Meade, Kayla and Lenny Bolinsky, Jenna and Haylee Dyszel, Cody, Bria and Emma Hocking; her great-grandchildren: Gavin and Ashton Blase, Lilly and Zoey Meade, Nolan and Brynn Cairo; loved by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 21 ^st at 11 am from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville. Friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm and again on Wednesday morning from 9:30 am until the time of service. Interment will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
