Joann Cress

Joann Cress , 75, Ashland passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 17 ^th at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Evelyn Korn Menne. She worked as a pinner for Gitman Bros., Ashland for over 20 years before retiring.

She enjoyed playing bingo and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harrison Hartz; her two sons: Brian and Kevin Hartz.

Joann is survived by her three sons: Michael Hartz and his wife Rita, Girardville; Eric Hartz, Ashland; Kurt Hartz and his companion Anita, Ashland; her daughter, Angela Hartz and her companion Keith, Ashland; also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 21st at the Brock Cemetery, Ashland.
