Jean E. Ellison

Jean E. Ellison , Girardville, died suddenly Wednesday evening in her home.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Ralph J. Ellison in 1990 and 5 sons: Ray, Michael, Patrick, Brian and Bruce Ellison and 2 sisters: Mary Casey and Lee Hall.

Jean is survived by her 3 sons: Douglas and his wife Mary Ellen, Girardville; Mark and his wife Ceceilia, Tamaqua; Matt and his wife Melga Ellison, Hometown; a daughter Sandra Green of Oklahoma; a brother Joseph Cornette, Virginia; a sister, Frances Davis, Nanticoke; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home in Girardville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be held at IndiantownGapNationalCemetery, Annville.
