James H. Pitts

James H. Pitts , 82, Girardville  passed away on Thursday, April 28 ^th at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Girardville, he was a son of the late Harry and Adha James Pitts.

Jimmy was a United States Navy Veteran and worked as a custodian for North Schuylkill Elementary School until his retirement. He was an avid Eagles Fan.

Jimmy is survived by his companion of 30 years, Ida Canavan and her family including two daughters: Cindy Reinoehl and Mary Hertz; two sons: Timmy Reinoehl and Michael Reinoehl; numerous grandchildren including Shannon Madden; his best friends, George and Louise Canavan and a god-daughter Jean Ann Parfitt.

Funeral services will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3 ^rd from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville . Friends are invited to his visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Interment with Navy military honors will be held at 2 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
