James D. Fitzpatrick

James D. Fitzpatrick , 69, a lifelong resident of Frackville died unexpectedly Sunday morning at his home.

Born in Shenandoah Heights he was a son of the late William and Isabelle " Carroll " Fitzpatrick. He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator for several area construction companies and had also worked in the Bahamas constructing their highway system and airport.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville and attended Frackville High School. He was a member of the AFL- CIO.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers Vincent " Beaver " Fitzpatrick and William J. Fitzpatrick.

The last member of his immediate family he is survived by his sister-in-law Ursaline Manfredi Fitzpatrick, Ashland and by several cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10: 30 a.m. on Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert Finlan, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of mass. Private interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville.
