James V. Coyle

James V. "J.C. " Coyle, 70, Shenandoah, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon at his residence with his family at his side.

Born in Shenandoah he was the son of the late Margaret P. Coyle. He had been employed in the housekeeping department of Rest Haven Nursing Center, Schuylkill Haven until his retirement.

He was a member of Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Church, Shenandoah.

In addition to his mother, who died in 1984, he was preceded in death by a step-son Anthony Lawson in 1993.

Jim is survived by his wife of 31 years the former Janet Lawson, his grand-daughter, who had resided with him, Desiree Alsvan, now of Girardville, his sons Sean and his wife Jessica Coyle, Schuylkill Haven, James Jr. and his wife Barbara Coyle, Somerset, Pa, step-sons Allan and his wife Julia Lawson, Carbondale and John and his wife Maureen Alsvan, Gilbert, AZ, his daughter Theresa Conapitski, Lost Creek, his grandchildren; Nicholas, Tyler, Mirah, Mikayla, Cora, Sarah, Eddie, Sean and Molly.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Church, Shenandoah, with Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends may call at the church Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until time of mass. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
