James W. Bradshaw

James W. Bradshaw , 85, Lost Creek, died peacefully Sunday at Shenandoah Senior Living Center, with his family at his side.

Born in Lost Creek he was a son of the late Edward and Nellie " Coyle " Bradshaw. He had been employed as a auto mechanic for Klee's Service station for several years and later at Jack Selgrade's Service Station until his retirement.

He was a U S Army veteran of WW II

He was a member of the former St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Lost Creek, where he served as the volunteer caretaker for numerous years. Jim could always be found cutting the grass, painting and unselfishly donating his time for whatever was needed in service to his church and parish.

He was preceded in death by four brothers; Joseph, Edward, Thomas and William and by his sister Catherine.

He is survived by his brother Phil Bradshaw, Yardley and by several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at Annunciation B.V. M. Catholic Church, Shenandoah with Rev. Charles Dean as the celebrant. Interment will be in Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Friends may call at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, 403 W. Main Street, Girardville on Friday morning from 9 until 11 a.m..
