Jacqueline Marquette

Jacqueline Marquette , 92, Orwigsburg and former Mount Carmel resident, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill, Pottsville.

Born in Tremont on October 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Emily (Graeff) Marquette.

Jacqueline was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School and worked as a church secretary until her retirement.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Marquette and his wife, Dolores.

Jacqueline is survived by her two nieces, Diane Bressi and her husband, John of Kulpmont and Deana Washell and her husband, Bill of State College; three great nieces, Mollie Washell,  Kayla Bressi, and Haley Bressi; three great-nephews, Jonathan Poplaski, Dean Poplaski and his wife, Renee, Jesse Washell; two great-great nieces, Emma and Zoey Poplaski; two great-great nephews, Conner and Oliver Poplaski; a friend, considered as family, Michelle Wywadis and her two children, Landen Wywadis and Raymond Wywadis; as well as many cousins.
