Helene A. McBride

Helene A. "Toots" McBride , 78, Shenandoah, passed away peacefully Thursday at Schuylkill Medical Center South.

Born in Shenandoah, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth "Walsh" Blickley. She had been employed as a nurse's aid at the former Locust Mountain Hospital.

She was active in the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1999, a baby; 2 sisters, Theresa and Betty and a brother Bill.

She is survived by 3 nephews, Mark (Claire) Kelenkoski, Francis (Donna) Kalenkoski and Bill Kalenkosky; 2 nieces, Tina Perez and Nina (Andy) Gerber.

Graveside services in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA will be private in accordance with Helene's wishes.
