Helen Ruth Reba

Helen (Sis) Reba, 66, of Frackville died unexpectedly in her home Friday, July 16 ^th .

Born on July 9 ^th , 1955 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Earl (Hook) Jones and Mary (Flickinger) Jones.

Helen attended Shenandoah Valley High School and worked as a garment worker at Model Garment until its closing. She also worked as a crew leader at Hardees and at Hollander Home fashion.

She was a devoted member of United Presbyterian Church, Mount Carmel, where you would find her every Sunday. Helen was also a social member of the American Legion Post 398, Frackville and a member of the honor guard of the Atlas American Legion where she played bugle. Helen was a die-hard Phillies and Eagles fan and loved the Beatles. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Reba in 1998 and her brothers: Edmond, Earl, Raymond, Ralph, Leroy and John and a sister, Susan.

She is survived by a daughter Mary Lou Murphy and her companion Seth of Tamaqua, Jane Krick and her companion Harry Henninger Frackville.

She also leaves behind a Fiancé, Ron Halcovich , Mount Carmel; Brothers: William Jones, Shenandoah, Daniel Jones, Frackville and David Jones, Shenandoah. She also leaves behind her loving Grandchildren, Brooke who was also her God child, Jeffrey, Aaron, Jethro, Jayda, Alaunna; her great-grandchildren Lucas, Layla, Athena, Zekiah, and Skylar; many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was eagerly awaiting the arrival of 3 more great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 11 ^th at 11 a.m. from the United Presbyterian Church, 100 E. 5th Street Mount Carmel. Friends are invited to her visitation at the church on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at St. Vincent dePaul Cemetery, Frackville.

Helen loved flowers and anyone is welcome to send them to the church.
