Helen Margret Neary

Helen Margret Neary , 94, of Sharon Hill, PA, formerly of Mahanoy City, PA passed away at her residence on Wednesday June 2 ^nd surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna Kubis Karlik. Helen was a graduate of Mahanoy City High School.    In 1944 she joined the US Cadet Nurse Corps during WWII and graduated from the Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing, receiving her diploma as a Registered Nurse.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John David Neary of Frackville PA; her three brothers: John, Michael and Stephan Karlik; her sisters: Anna Karlik Trusik and Elizabeth Karlik Moyer.

Helen is survived by her three daughters: Deborah Neary, Sharon Hill; Barbara Neary (PJ Zornosa), Havertown; Trisha Christopher and her husband Ron, Springfield; her son, Michael Neary and his wife Nancy, Bryn Mawr; her sister, Ludmilla "Millie" Karlik Shannon, Willingboro, NJ; her loving grandchildren: Jonathan (Cody) Christopher, Emily Christopher, Anika Christopher, Nicholas Christopher, John Neary, Katharine Neary and Daniel Neary; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 8 ^th at 10:30 a.m. from Christ Lutheran Church, 10 E Mahanoy St, Mahanoy City PA with Rev. Fred Crawford officiating. Friends are invited to her viewing from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown.
