Helen P. Hrisko

Helen P. Hrisko , 2200 First Ave., Pottsville, died Friday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center, E. Norwegian Street, Pottsville.

Born in Frackville she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Mary " Richardson " Hrisko. She had been employed in the payroll department for the former Charles Rabin factory, Frackville, until her retirement.

Helen was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Church, Frackville. Helen cherished her Ukrainian heritage and culture which she loved to share with everyone.

She was preceded in death by three brothers; John Hreshko Daniel Hreshko Sr. and William Hrisko and also a sister Anna M Hrisko.

She is survived by two sisters Eva Hreshko, Pottsville and Mary Salen, Leesport, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Panakhyda services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Burial service will be at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church Frackville, with Very Rev. Archpriest John Fields as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 8:30 until time of service.

The family prefers contributions, in Helen's name, to the memorial fund of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 45 S. Second Street, Frackville, Pa. 17931.
