Helen Heine
Helen Heine , 89, Frackville, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Schuylkill East Norwegian St., Pottsville, with her family by her side.
Born in Corktown she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica Pinchot Mallick.
She was a devout member and volunteer for numerous church activities of the former St. Joseph's Catholic Church, now St. Joseph The Worker Parish, Frackville. She was a 1947 graduate of the former Frackville High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francis " Gus " Heine in 1998, her daughter Colleen in 1958, two sisters; Mary Prete and Ann Yotko, four brothers; Metro, Adam, Steven and Michael Mallick and her son-in-law William T. Turner on Aug. 20, 2017
Helen is survived by her four daughters; Donna wife of Bernard Karpovich, Frackville, Lucinda Turner, Frackville, Deborah wife of Vasel Pepaj , Squaw Valley, CA,and Karen Bowe, Harrisburg, her son James F. and his wife Lynn Ann Heine, Newport, PA, her grandchildren; Maria Karpovich, Joseph, Jason and Kerry Turner, Babette, Nicole, Jarrett and Ayana Pepaj, Jason (Casey) Bowe, Ryan and Patrick Bowe, Loni Shaeffer, Jessica ( James ) Caprio, Brittany (Paul) Brutto, Samantha (Justin) Shapansky and several step-grandchildren, her great-grandchildren; Madison and Vincent Bowe, Rebecca, Riley and Annabelle Caprio, Zoey Quintinsky , Allison Brutto, Tanner and Kyler Shapansky and several step-great-grandchildren, also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert T. Finlan, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until time of mass.
