Helen W. Evans

Helen W. Evans , 83, Mahanoy Plane, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning at The Gardens of Palmyra surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Mahanoy Plane, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen Flynn English. She had worked until her retirement at Model Garment Factory and City Shirt, Frackville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Evans; her daughter, Susie Berezwick and her sister Mary McCann.

Helen is survived by her three loving daughters: Colleen and her husband Gary Petrewicz, Hummelstown, Joni and her husband Bobby Kitsock, Hummelstown and Janice and her husband Dave Kutchinsky, Frackville; her son-in-law Matt Berezwick, Mahanoy Plane; her two brother-in-laws: Bob McCann, Manville, NJ, and Richard Evans, Linden, NJ; her sister-in-law Joan Avenoso of Mahanoy City; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. from St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Annunciation BVM Church, Frackville. Friends may call at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
