Helen A. Borzok

Helen Ann Rovinskie-Borzok, 72, of Frackville, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 22, at home.

Born in Ashland, September 5, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Rovinskie and Josephine Medalis Rovinskie. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Ralph Borzok, and her brothers, Robert Duven and Ben Rovinskie Jr. She was a 1968 graduate of Immaculate Heart High School.

Helen had a fulfilling career and retired from SCI Mahanoy where she made many lifelong friends.

Helen's passions included playing bingo, rooting for the Eagles and Phillies, taking leisurely walks, and enjoying lunch dates with her dear friends Barbara Gaverick and Barbara's daughter Shannon Mandel. She took great pleasure in watching her favorite streaming shows with her close friend Mary Ann White. She especially loved being a grandmother to AnnaJo and MaggieLyn.

Helen's memory will be lovingly carried on by her daughter, Michelle Borzok-George, and her wife Rebecca, and her granddaughters, AnnaJo and MaggieLyn, who all reside in Macungie, PA; her son, Michael Borzok and his wife Sherrie, who live in Mission Viejo, CA; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Helen's life will take place at 11 am  on Saturday, April 15, at Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home in Frackville. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday morning at the funeral home from 10 am until the time of service. Interment will follow at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
