Harry C. Engle

Harry C. Engle , 81, of Oviedo FL, passed away peacefully, after a long illness, on May 12th, 2013, at Hospice of the Comforter, Altamonte Springs, FL.

He was born in Delano, PA, and graduated from Frackville PA High School. Harry graduated, with honors, from Penn State University, Schuylkill Campus, Pottsville, PA. He served in the US Army, Korea, 1953-1954, and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was a Past Commander of V.F.W. Post 5703 in Frackville. Harry was first employed by the A&P Co, Frackville.

He retired from Sensors INC. , Saline, MI where he held the position of Mechanical Design Manager.

Harry is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Janice Fellows, formerly of Gilberton, PA; a son, Harry M. Engle and grandson, Eli J. Engle, of Miramar, FL; sisters, Louise Canfield, Ashland, PA, and Carole Fisher, Muskogee, OK; a sister-in-law, Norma Fellows Eisenacher, Tremont PA, and many nieces and nephews.

Services and Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
