Frank J. Bolinsky
Frank J. Bolinsky, 80, of Frackville passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, March 20th, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Butler Township, he was a son of the late Anthony and Genevieve Szwabowicz Bolinsky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony Bolinsky and Leonard Bolinsky, and a grandson, Jared Bolinsky.
Frank was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Frackville.
Frank was a self-employed landscaper for many years, owning and operating his own business while proudly serving the Frackville community and surrounding areas. He was well known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the pride he took in every job, building lasting relationships with those he served. Later, he went on to work as a labor foreman at SCI Mahanoy until his retirement.
Above all, Frank had a deep love for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who found his greatest joy in supporting his grandchildren. Whether it was attending sporting events, school activities, or special occasions, Frank could always be found cheering them on and taking great pride in all of their accomplishments.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Marlene P. (James) Bolinsky; his son, Frank Bolinsky and his wife, Allison; and his daughters: Nea Griffin and her husband, John "Lou"; Tonya Kovach and her husband, Jeff; Tara Steinhilber and her husband, Dave; and Vanessa Lindenmuth and her husband, Billy; his sister, Patricia Vollenweider; his brothers, Joseph Bolinsky and Richard Bolinsky; his eleven grandchildren, Ryan, Derek, Emily, Matthew, Kaitlyn (David), Aaron, Nathan, Kevin, Tyler (Madeline), Rylee, and Brady; his great-grandchildren, Reagan, Luca, and one baby boy on the way. Frank is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his life-long friend, Jim Beckett.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 25th, at 5:00 p.m. from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, 501 Washington Street, Frackville with Fr. Guency Isaac officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation following the service from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Frank's name, to the Friendship Fire Co. at PO Box 157 Frackville, PA 17931 or the Goodwill Hose Co. at 225 S. Balliet Street Frackville, PA 17931
