Frank H. Blozusky
Frank H. " Blazer " Blozusky 82, Maizeville, died peacefully Sunday morning at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Gilberton he was a son of the late Joseph C. and Anna R. ( Napavanitz ) Blozoskie. He had been employed as a truck operator for Penn Dot until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville.
He graduated from the former Gilberton High School in 1950. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War where he served as a tank driver. He was a member of the former Gilberton American Legion Post # 620 from 1955 until 1991, having held all offices in the post during those 36 years., until the post disbanded in 1991. He then joined Frackville American Legion Post # 398 where he has been a member for the last 23 years. He was a member of Bears Head Sportsman Association, Life member of Gilberton Fire Co. and the South End Field and Stream.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers; George, John and Joseph.
Frank is survived by his wife of 46 years the former Connie A. ( Ketusky ), his son Dr. Frank J. and his wife Erin Blozusky, Frackville, his grandchildren Katie and Frankie Blozusky, his three brothers; Anthony and his wife Diane, Mahanoy City, Michael 'Mike", Maizeville and Stanley and his wife Diane, Frackville also by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert Finlan, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment, with full military honors, will be in St. Louis Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service
The family prefers contributions, in Frank's name, be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Joseph's Parish, 7 South Broad Mountain Ave., Frackville, PA 17931
