Francis E. Kenesky , 73, of Frackville passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 28th.
Born in Ashland, he was a son of Regina (Kurpell) Kenesky and her late husband Albert Kenesky.
Frank was a United States Navy Veteran having served during the Viet Nam War. He was a former president of the Whippoorwill South End Field and Stream, Frackville; president of the Hegins Trap Club and the Amateur Trapshooting Association where he won many trophies; he was a member of the Frackville American Legion Post 398 and was of the catholic faith.
Frank enjoyed spending his time trapshooting and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his father Albert Kenesky and by his sister Deborah Thomas.
Frank is survived by his mother, Regina Kenesky; his fiancé, Judy Oswald, of Frackville; his nephew, Daniel Thomas and his great-niece, Haley Thomas of Barnesville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 5th from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home,Frackville with Fr. Leo Maletz officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to his visitation on Friday morning at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment with military honors will follow at Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown.
