Frances J. Russell , 48, Ashland, died friday shortly after arrival at St. Catherine Medical Center, Butler Twp..

Born in Williamsport she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Ann " Zybulski " Howlett.

She was a veteran of the armed forces having served with the army.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Howlett.

She is survived by her son Charles Watkins, Fla., her fiancé Allen Skiles, Ashland, a brother, Leonard Howlett, Williamsport, three sisters, Marty Trump, Ashland, Carol Lavelle, Richmond, VA and Gloria Brown, Williamsport, nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
