Frances A. Curry

Frances A. " Fran " Curry , 83, Frackville, passed away peacefully, Saturday evening, surrounded by her loving family, at Schuylkill Medical Center, East Norwegian Street.

Born in St. Clair she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary " Kanish " Kolenick Farenish and the step-daughter of the late Michael Farenish who raised her from her childhood.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. James #1029, Frackville.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years James H. Curry in 2001, her grandson Joseph Kleeman, her 3 brothers; Leo, Andrew and Joseph Kolenick.

Fran's family meant everything to her and she meant everything to them. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and will be greatly missed. She was loved also by friends and anyone who knew her.

Fran is survived by two sons; James H. Curry Jr., Slatington and Stephen T. and his wife Jill Curry, Frackville, her two daughters; Jane A. and her husband Joe Kleeman, Fountain Springs and Mary Ellen wife of Pete Wysochansky, Frackville, 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert Finlan, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until time of service.
