Frances A. Blackner
Frances A. Blackner , 63, Mount Carmel, formerly of Girardville, passed away peacefully Saturday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born and raised in Girardville she was a daughter of Vincent and Marian Ranieri Monterosso. She was a graduate of the former Cardinal Brennan High School.
She is survived by her husband Geoffrey Blackner, three sons; Geoffrey Blackner II, Anthony Blackner and Ian Hartz, three daughters; Gina Tophoney, Ashley Diehl and April Mitchell, her brother John Monterosso and sister Rose Bobbit also by nine grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
