Evelyn M. Houser

Evelyn M. Houser, 93 , Englewood, Frackville, died early Monday morning at her residence.

Born in Frackville on September 30, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Emma " Kore " Harris. She had been employed, for several years, by the Curtain Call Costume Company, York, Pa, as a seamstress.

She was of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in 1986, her son Kenneth in 2010, her grandson Kenneth in 1962, and several sisters and a brother.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter Karen wife of Jim Mundy, York, her sister Bernice Hinkle, Frackville, five grandchildren; Scott Houser, Marian Marham, Sandy Walter, Linda Damiter and Sharon Kovalusky, all of Frackville, nine great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Evelyn will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until time of service.
