Eva Hreshko

Eva Hreshko , 93, former Frackville resident, died Sunday morning at Berks Heim Nursing Center, Leesport.

Born in Maizeville she was a daughter of the late Theodore (Frank) and Mary " Richardson " Hrisko. She had been employed in the cutting department for the former Charles Rabin factory, Frackville, until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville.

Eva was known for her baking skills. She cherished her Ukrainian heritage and culture which she loved to share with everyone.

She was preceded in death by three brothers; John, Daniel Sr. and William Hrisko also two sisters: Anna and Helen Hrisko.

She is survived by her sister Mary Salen, Leesport and by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Panakhyda services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Funeral Divine Liturgy will be at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville, with Very Rev. Archpriest John Fields as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until time of service.

The family prefers contributions, in Eva's name, to the memorial fund of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, 45 S. Second St., Frackville 17931
