Ethel E. Schally

Ethel E. Schally, 513 E. Biddle St, Gordon, died Tuesday at St. Catherine's Medical Center, Fountain Springs.

Born in Millersville she was a daughter of the late John and Mabel " Shoup " Brennan. . She had been employed as a sewing machine operator at Mounts Garment Factory, Mt. Carmel and also at several other area factories.

She was a member of Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church, Gordon. She was a member of both the Gordon and Ashland Senior Citizens and was a member of the auxiliary of the Gordon Fire Company in which she held several offices over the years.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandson Kohl Marlow.

Ethel is survived by her husband of 57 years, James A. Schally, a son James and his wife Kathleen Schally, Boiling Springs, PA, two daughters Mary Alice and her husband Gregory A. Fields, Kingsport Tn and Susan Jacavage, Gordon, 4 grandchildren; Michelle Walter, Harrisburg, Stephanie Marlow, Kulpmont, Jason Marlow, Sunbury and Ralph Jacavage, Gordon, also six Great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
