Elizabeth Prock

Elizabeth " Bette " Prock , 89, Frackville, died peacefully Monday afternoon at Schuylkill Medical Center, South Jackson St., Pottsville.

Born in Raven Run she was a daughter of the late George and Theresa " Silvashi " Gera. She had been employed as a sewing machine operator at various factories in the area until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville. She was also a member of the Sacred Heart Society of St. Michael's, American Legion Post # 398 Auxiliary and Frackville Area Senior Citizens all of Frackville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Steven Prock, two sisters; Mary Kowatch and Mary Hollick, eight brothers: Nick Flavin, baby John, Johnny, Paul, George, Joe, Andy and Michael Gera.

Betty is survived by her children, Fred and his wife Carolyn Boychak, Barbara Meusel , Nicholas Boychak and Michael and his wife Janice Boychak, all of Frackville, a brother Rev. Francis Gera, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great great-grand daughter, nieces and nephews.

Panakhyda service will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville, with Very Rev Archpriest John Fields, pastor as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers contributions, in Betty's name , to the memorial fund of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 45, S. Second Street, Frackville, PA 17931
