Elizabeth Dean      Elizabeth " Betty " Dean, a guest at Broab Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, former Frackville resident, died Sunday afternoon at the center.

Born in Frackville she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Laura " Bowen " Mervine. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Frackville.

She was preceded in death by her husband William in 1963, four sons; William, Joseph, Darrin and James Dean, a daughter Carol Hauze.

She is survived by her son Paul and his wife Janet Dean, Frackville, her daughter Laura and her husband Thomas Tomko, NJ, a brother Clarence Mervine, Frackville, a sister Laura Rothacker, Lititz, 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, with Rev. Oliver Brown, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery, Frackville.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer contributions, in Betty's name, be made to the memorial fund of Zion Lutheran Church, Oak & Nice Streets, Frackville, Pa.
