Edward T. Bogaczyk

Edward T. Bogaczyk, Girardville, died peacefully Sunday at his residence.

Born in Hazleton he was a son of the late Stanley and Josephine ( Miazga ) Bogaczyk.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Girardville and a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Ed is survived by his caregiver and companion Rita Frigone, Girardville, three brothers; John, Joe and Stanley Bogaczyk and a sister Jeanette Donahue, nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Girardville, with Rev. Edward B. Connolly, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment, with military honors, will be in the parish cemetery, Fountain Springs. Friends may call at the church on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until time of mass.
