E. Betty Kneib

E. Betty Kneib , 70, Frackville, died peacefully Saturday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in West Chester she was a daughter of the late Joseph P. and Anne ( Shields ) Evans. She had been employed as a machine operator for Wyeth Labs in Malvern, PA.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Frackville, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. James # 1029, Frackville, Frackville Area Senior Citizens and was an usher in St. Joseph's Church for several years.

An avid NY Mets fan she also enjoyed playing cards and loved country music.

She was preceded in death by brothers; Robert James and Donald Lawerence Evans and sisters; Anne Funderwhite, Peg Trego and Ruthann Benach.

Betty is survived by her son Ronald Kneib, Frackville, her daughter Cheryl wife of Carl Marshall, Coatsville, her grandchildren; Tyler Kneib and Carly and Jarret Marshall, three brothers; John ( Clara ) Evans, West Chester, Joseph ( Betty Jo ) Evans, Apache Junction, AZ and Tom Evans, Akron, PA, her sister Mildred Benedict, Philadelphia also by several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 P.M. Thursday, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert T. Finlan, pastor as the celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary ( Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery ), Media Pa. There will be no calling hours.
