Dorothy Slie

Dorothy Slie, 83, Girardville, formerly of Meridan, CT, passed away on Wednesday, September 8 ^th at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East, Pottsville.

Born in Meridan, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Helen Kapi Homerston. She was a loving caregiver and last worked as a CNA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Donald Slie Jr.

Dorothy is survived by her three daughters: Alice Slie, Meriden, CT; Leeann Porto and her husband Eugene, Alburgh, VT; Hollyanne and her husband Tony Davenport of Ivyland, PA; her loving grandchildren: Joshua Davenport and soon to be wife Charlee; Tyler Davenport and soon to be husband Florencio; Chadd Davenport and his soon to be wife Mary; a great-granddaughter Blake Harper Davenport; her very close friends: Sharon Kingsbury, Louann Olson, Bernice Yackera, David Lajoy and Louie DeAngelis; several nieces and nephews and also many four legged grandchildren.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
