Doris M. Renaldi

Doris M. Renaldi , 87, of Frackville passed away on September 25, 2018 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pottsville. She resided with her husband, Joseph, for many years; however, due to failing health, she was a resident of the Broad Mountain Rehabilitation Center in Frackville for the past year.

She was born on January 24, 1931 in Littlestown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John & Cora Hawk. She was employed by the former Good Samaritan Hospital in Pottsville for 29 years where she was a clinical secretary in the emergency room. In her free time, Doris served as the secretary for the former Ladies of the Elks, Vice President of the Good Samaritan retirees & was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Frackville. Doris also enjoyed reading, traveling, baking, gardening, and visitations by her children & grandchildren. She was known to be a loving & nurturing person always supportive of her family & friends.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ray Hawk & Robert Hawk, and sister, Edith Grove. In addition to her husband, Joseph T. Renaldi, she is survived by 3 children: Jan Renaldi of Morrisville, NC, Daniel Renaldi of Frackville, PA, & Loriann Renaldi-Waqar and her husband, Naveed of Harrisburg, PA; 2 granddaughters: Lindsay Waqar of Philadelphia, PA & Brianna Renaldi of Kannapolis, NC and her two daughters; 1 brother, Larry Hawk & his wife Peggy of Littlestown, PA.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with a burial at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
