David L. Lawson

David L. Lawson , 14 N. Third Street, Frackville, died Sunday at Schuylkill Medical Center South Jackson St., Pottsville.

Born in Saint Nicholas, he was a son of the late James and Helen " Yaworsky " Lawson. He had been employed for Marko Radiator, Shenandoah, until his retirement. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Frackville.

Dave was an army veteran of the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by two brothers; James and Francis Lawson.

He is survived by his wife the former Christine " Fadule " Lawson, two sons; Jamie and his wife Heather Lawson, stationed at Ft. Sill, OK and Christopher Lawson, Frackville, two step-sons; Timothy Mickalowski, Frackville, Ronald Mickalowski, Nescopeck, two brothers; Thomas Lawson, LA and Jack Lawson, Lost Creek, two sisters; Dolores Barnes, CA and Priscilla Dyszel, Frackville, 6 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 10:30 a.m. on saturday, at First United Methodist Church, Frackville, with Rev. Sue Ketterer, officiating.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no public viewing.
