David A. Evans

David A. Evans, 47, Quality Hill Rd., Gilberton, died Saturday shortly after arrival at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Gilberton he was a son of the late William E. and Evelyn " Billy " Evans. He had been employed as a landscaper for Davis Landscaping, Frackville.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, the former Jean Ann " Johnson " his brother William E. Evans, Pottsville, his sister Sandra K. Schlemmer, Shenandoah and an aunt Helen Berger, Orwigsburg, also by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, with Joseph Murton, pastor of Gilberton Methodist church officiating. Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9 until time of service.
