Daniel J. Malloy

Daniel J. Malloy , 968 Fountain Street, Ashland, died Wednesday morning at St. Catherine Medical Center,  Butler Twp. .

Born in Lower William Penn he was a son of the late Daniel and Mary " Flannery " Malloy. He was employed as a construction worker with Operating Engineers Union # 542 Reading, Pa.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville.

Mr. Malloy was preceded in death by his wife the former Dolores " Sheehan " in 2002 and two brothers James and John Malloy.

He is survived by his daughter Deborah Malloy, Butler Twp. a brother Frank Malloy, Roselyn, Pa and by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Michael Beers, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. with scripture service at 6:30.
