IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Connie
Samler
April 4, 1952 – February 6, 2026
Connie J. Samler, 73, of Treverton and formerly of Nazareth, passed away peacefully at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, on Friday, February 6th.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was a daughter of Jean (Anderson) Marsh and the late Robert Marsh. In addition to her father, Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Samler, brother Bob Marsh, and her brother-in-law, Kenneth Shiffert.
Connie was a gifted artist who expressed herself through painting, finding joy and peace in bringing her creativity to life on canvas. Music was another passion of hers, and she especially loved attending concerts. Connie also took great pride in her garden, nurturing her plants with the same care she showed to those she loved. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family, whether gathered together for celebrations or sharing quiet, everyday moments. Those moments were her greatest joy and will remain her most lasting legacy.
She is survived by her loving mother, Jean Marsh; three sons, Edward Samler and his wife, Shannon, of Weatherly; Robert Samler and his wife, Jenna, of Girardville; and Thomas Samler of Altoona; her significant other, John “Jack” Kaminski of Treverton. Connie is also survived by her brother, Bill Marsh; her sister, Dandie Shiffert; her three cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Danika, and Cole; and nephews, Lance Shiffert and his wife Wendy and Doug Shiffert and his wife Mel.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
