Clyde W. Fetterolf Jr.

Clyde W. Fetterolf Jr. , 85, Ashland, passed away on Tuesday May 18 ^th at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill, Pottsville.

Born in Locustdale, he was a son of the late Clyde and Ruth Lieser Fetterolf.  He had been employed as the maintenance supervisor at the South Vo-Tech school until his retirement.

Clyde was a United States Marine Corp. veteran. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Ashland, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2580, Frackville and a member of the Ashland Fish and Game.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Beverly Kohlenburg.

Clyde is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret M. Fetterolf; his two sons: Kenneth and Robert Fetterolf, Newport, NC; his three step-sons: Mark and his wife Renee Metzinger, Hummelstown, Thomas and his wife Jacqueline Metzinger, Ashland and William Metzinger, Gordon; two brothers: Wally Fetterolf, Mowry and Ed Fetterolf, Lavelle; a sister, Judy Rothermel, Hegins; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 22 ^nd from St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland with Rev. Brian Miller, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends are invited to his viewing from 9 a.m. until the time of mass at the church on Saturday morning. Interment with military honors will be private.
