Clare M. Holleran

Clare M. Holleran , 89, Ashland passed away peacefully Monday, March 13 ^th at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Danville.

Born in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Clara Sentkoski Medalis.

Clare was a devout member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Frackville. She was also a member of the Frackville Area Senior Citizens, the Frackville Elks BPOE 1533 and the Frackville American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling with the seniors, baking, watching the Phillies and was always telling a witty joke. She had a love for animals especially her cats and enjoyed watching the birds at the feeder.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John E. Holleran; her two sons: Edward M. Holleran and Kevin P. Holleran.

Clare is survived by her son Dennis J. and his wife Kathy Holleran, Kulpmont; her three loving grandsons: Tyler and his wife Jacqueline Holleran, Luke Holleran and his fiancé Paige and Alex Holleran; her daughter-in-law, Joan Holleran, Fleetwood.

The family would like to thank caregivers Barbara, Leona and Violet for their consistent, loving and tender care they provided to Clare.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 17 ^th from St. Joseph the Worker Parish (St. Ann's Church), 49 N. Line Street, Frackville with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends are invited to her viewing at St. Ann's Church on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be held at Annunciation BVM Cemetery, Frackville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Clare's name, to Hillside SPCA at PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901 or to St. Joseph the Worker Parish at 7 S. Broad Mt. Avenue Frackville, PA 17931.
