Charles D. Payne

Charles D. Payne , 83, Tamaqua died early Saturday morning at his residence.

Born in Centralia, he was the son of the late John H. and Sarah H. "Krell" Payne. Charles was an Army Veteran of WWII. He was a life member of the Masonic Lodge # 238 F & A M and also a member of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, John. H., Robert Q., William B., and Ronald Adrian Payne.

Charles is survived by many sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
