, 92, 232 S. Nice Street, Frackville, died Friday evening at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.
Born in Frackville she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Stella " Stabinsky " Zelonis. She had been employed as a seamstress for the former Charles Rabin factory, Frackville, until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a charter member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. James, # 2580, both of Frackville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ulrich ( Ollie ) Kreitzer in 1972, also by her son Ulrich ( Junny ) Kreitzer, 3 brothers; Edward, Lawrence and Leonard Zelonis and a sister Helen Zelonis.
She is survived by her two daughters; Dolores Wasilewski and Mary Ann and her husband Joseph Venoskie both of Frackville her sister Anna Charnick, Frackville, four grandchildren; Jeff Giba, Valerie Bergamo, Michele Klein and Mark Wasilewski, 3 great-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren and 1 step great great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 on Tuesday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Mass of Christian Burial for Cecelia will be at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Michael Beers , pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations, in Cecelia's name, be made to the charity of your choice.
