Carolyn E. Phillips

Carolyn E. " Rosey " Phillips , 76, Frackville, died peacefully Wednesday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, surrounded by her family.

Born in Shenandoah she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Caroline ( Heffner ) Guinn. She had been employed as a nurses assistant, for several years, at the former Ashland State General Hospital.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Frackville.

She was preceded in death by her infant son John Bejgrowicz and her brothers Joseph Guinn and John Kline.

Carolyn is survived by her son Joseph Bejgrowicz, her daughters Barbara wife of John Phillips and Karen Freudenberger all of Frackville, her sister Anna Marie Marcinowski, Barnesville, 4 grandsons, 3 great-grandchildren and was affectionately known as "Chuchie" to her several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights with Rev. Oliver E. Brown officiating.
