Carolyn Boychak , 74, lifelong resident of Frackville, passed away peacefully Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Ashland she was a daughter of the late Walter and Valeria Pyzowski Golba. She had been employed in the bakery department of the former Anthony's Supermarket later Bart's Supermarket as a cake decorator, until her retirement in 2003.

She was a member of St. John The Baptist PNCC, Frackville.

She was a graduate of Frackville High School, class of 1961, an active member of the Frackville Area Senior Citizens and a longtime volunteer for Birthright until her passing.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 siblings.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 53 years,Frederick T. Boychak, her two daughters; Michelle Boychak, Blandon and Colette Boychak Corby, Frackville, her grandson Jacob Corby, one brother John J. Golba and his companion Mary Ann Hoppes, Frackville, also a niece and several nephews

Private graveside services will be held in St. John The Baptist PNCC cemetery, Frackville, at the convenience of the family.
