Bradley J. Kaufman , 44, of Ashland passed away at his home on Saturday, January 18th.

Born in Pottsville, he was the son of Mary L. (Klinger) Kaufman and the late Larry Joe Kaufman. He worked as a home health aide.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Sarah and Harry Klinger; and his paternal grandparents: Betty and Burd Kaufman.

Brad enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loved spending time with his family and caring for his cats. He also volunteered at the local food pantry.

He is survived by his mother, Mary L. Kaufman, Ashland; his daughter, Haleigh Kaufman and her fiancé Evan Freiler, Palo Alto; his sister Alyesha Kaufman, Port Carbon; and he is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, January 27th from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville. Friends and relatives are invited to his visitation at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.  Interment will be held in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs.
