Betty Ann Russell

Betty Ann Russell , 85, Frackville, passed away peacefully, early Saturday morning, at the Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg.

Born in Frackville, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Joanne Russell. She had been employed as a seamstress for the former Model Garment and later worked for McDonalds.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker parish.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Weremedic and her brother John Russell.

Betty Ann is survived by her nephews: Daniel J. Russell and William "Bill" Russell; her nieces: Kim Russell, Kelly Travis and her husband Brett Travis, Amy Russell, Kristi Rodriguez and her husband Abdiel Rodriguez; great nieces/nephews: Blake and Brayden Travis, Drey Flinchbaugh and Ava Rodriguez.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 2nd at 11 a.m. from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville.
