Beth T. Ferrari

Beth T. Ferrari , 75, Girardville, passed away peacefully Sunday at Schuylkill Medical Center East with her family at her side.

Born in Gilberton, she was a daughter of the late George and Betty "Tregea" Thomas.

Beth had been employed as a X-Ray Technician at the former Locust Mountain and Ashland State Hospitals and then later employed at Weis Market in Frackville.

She was a member of the Gilberton United Methodist Church.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Beth enjoyed celebrating her family's special occasions especially birthdays and Christmas.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Mae and Gladys Thomas, and Jacqueline Boyer and one brother George Thomas.

Beth is survived by her husband of 56 years, Theodore "Ted" J. Ferrari, her son Ted Ferrari, Mahanoy City, her four daughters; Lynn, Marie, and Morganna Ferrari of Girardville and Beth Ferrari of Seneca Falls, NY, a sister Ruth Williams, Levittown and a brother Peter Thomas, Ashland. Beth is also survived by five grandchildren: Tomm, Tedd, Ashley, Emily Ferrari and Charity Green, a great grandson Aiden Ferrari and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville with her pastor Rev. Joseph Murton officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
