Arlan W. Swade

Arlan W. Swade , lifelong resident of Frackville, died peacefully Monday night at his residence.

Born in Frackville, he was a son of the late Clarence D. and Beatrice (Semerade) Swade.

Arlan worked as a lineman for Bell Telephone until his retirement.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Frackville and also served in the United States Marine Corps attaining the rank of Sergeant during the Korean War.

Arlan is survived by his wife, the former Joann (Van Keuren) Swade, Frackville; a daughter Lisa Gallop, Georgia; Two brothers: Clarence W. and his wife Irene Swade, Harrisburg and Wilbur A. Swade, Annville; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren also two step-children Gary DiGiuseppe, Frackville and Desiree DiGiuseppe, NJ.

Private services will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
