Anne M. Medrick

Anne M. Medrick , 88, Frackville, died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday .

Born in Girardville she was a daughter of the late Walter Zubris and Theresa Zubris Dronis.

She was a member of Annunciation B.V.M. Church, Frackville, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. James # 1029 and the American Contract Bridge League.

She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Medrick in 1990 and her sister Mary McGill.

Anne is survived by her son Mike Medrick, Berlin NJ and her daughter Terry wife of Frank Savakinas, Englewood, Frackville, her grandchildren; Joseph, Andrew and his wife Bonnie and Matthew Savakinas, Christine and Robert Medrick, four great-grandchildren, her brother Walter Zubris, Oaks, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert Finlan, Pastor , as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 9:30 until time of service.
